How to use Kendaraya

The whole idea in 30 seconds

You message Kendaraya once with your birth details. After that, you ask for what you want and it answers in the same chat.

1. Tell it when you were born

A two-minute form inside WhatsApp. This is the only setup.

2. It builds your chart

Kendaraya calculates where the planets stood at your birth, once, and keeps it.

3. Ask any time

Type “menu” for forecasts and timings, or type a question in your own words.

What you need before you start

A phone with WhatsApp

Any phone that already runs WhatsApp. No extra app to install.

Your birth date

Day, month and year.

Your birth time

As exact as you can find. If unknown, use 12:00 noon.

Your birth town

The town or city where you were born, in Sri Lanka or abroad.

Say hello on WhatsApp

Tap any green “Message Us” button on this site. WhatsApp opens a chat with Kendaraya. Send “Hi”, or any message. You do not install anything and you do not create a password.

Kendaraya answers within seconds with a welcome and a Register button.

Fill in the short form

Tapping Register opens a small form inside WhatsApp, a few short screens. It asks for:

  • Your name
  • Your email address (for your receipt)
  • Your birth date
  • Your birth time
  • The town or city where you were born

It takes about two minutes. Your chart is calculated from these details, so the more exact they are, the better.

Do not know your birth time? Ask a parent, or check the birth certificate or hospital record. If you cannot find it, enter 12:00 noon. Your results will still work, but anything that depends on the rising sign (Lagna) is less precise.

Meet your chart

The moment you finish the form, Kendaraya calculates where every planet stood when you were born, and sends back a short summary. The two things to look for:

  • Your Nakatha (birth star). The star group the Moon was in when you were born.
  • Your Lagna (rising sign). The zodiac sign rising on the eastern horizon at that moment.

These two are the base of every forecast you will receive. They are fixed for life and are explained in the glossary below.

Choose a plan and pay

Kendaraya shows the plans as buttons. Tap one and you get a secure payment link. You pay on the payment provider’s own page, not inside the chat, and WhatsApp then confirms that your subscription is active.

  • Basic: LKR 150 a month
  • Unlimited: LKR 990 a month

Both renew monthly. You can stop at any time (see “Plans, payment and cancelling” below). Prices shown here are the current public prices.

Open the menu any time

Type the word menu. Kendaraya replies with a list. Tap the list, then tap what you want to see. There is nothing to memorise.

Kendaraya’s replies are mostly in Sinhala. On this page they are shown in English so everyone can follow.

Tap a service and read the answer

Each answer arrives as a normal WhatsApp message you can scroll, save, or forward. Here are two typical ones.

Rahu Kalaya is a daily window of about 90 minutes that Sri Lankan tradition advises against for starting new things such as a journey, a signature or a purchase. It moves with the day of the week, so Kendaraya works out today’s window for your location.

See your birth chart and more

Kendaraya can also send your birth chart as a picture, with the planets placed in their houses, followed by a plain-language list of positions. Other services work the same way: Pancha Pakshi gives the good and bad hours for your birth bird, Panchanga checks a day’s tithi, nakatha and yoga, and Janma Yoga explains the special combinations in your chart.

Or just type your question

You do not have to use the menu. Type a question in your own words, for example “Is this a good week to sign my contract?”, and Kendaraya answers using your chart and its astrology rules. Questions about how the service works (billing, cancelling, privacy) are answered the same way.

Good to know: Replies are guidance based on tradition, not guarantees. For health, legal or money decisions, speak to a qualified professional.

Words you will see

Astrology has its own vocabulary. Here is what each word means in plain English.

Kendaraya
Your birth chart. Also the name of this service. “Kendara” is the chart; Kendaraya is yours.
Nakatha (birth star)
One of 27 star groups the Moon passes through. The one the Moon was in when you were born is your birth star.
Lagna (rising sign)
The zodiac sign that was rising on the eastern horizon at the moment and place you were born. It is why birth time matters.
Dasha
A long planetary period (years) that is running in your life right now. Each period brings the themes of its planet to the front.
Rahu Kalaya
A window of about 90 minutes each day that tradition advises against for starting new things. The time changes with the weekday.
Muhurtha
A chosen moment that suits a particular event, such as a wedding or opening a shop.
Panchanga
The traditional almanac of a day: tithi (lunar day), nakatha, yoga, karana and weekday.
Pancha Pakshi
A tradition that gives each person one of five birds. Your bird decides which hours of the day are strong or weak for you.
Porondam
Matching two birth charts, usually for marriage. It is available on request, not from the chat menu.

You pay on a secure payment page that opens from the chat. Card details never go through WhatsApp.

Common questions

Do I need to install an app?

No. Everything happens inside WhatsApp, which you already have.

What if I do not know my birth time?

Enter 12:00 noon. Most services still work. Anything that depends on your rising sign (Lagna) will be less precise, so a parent, birth certificate or hospital record is worth checking.

Is there a free trial?

Plans start at LKR 150 a month. Check the Pricing section on the home page for the latest offers.

How much does it cost?

Basic is LKR 150 a month and Unlimited is LKR 990 a month. You pay through a secure payment link, not inside the chat.

How do I cancel?

Message CANCEL in the chat. Kendaraya sends you a link to manage or end your subscription. See the Refund Policy for the rules on payments already made.

What language are the replies in?

Mostly Sinhala, matching the real chat. This page shows English samples so it is easy to follow.

Do I get a message every morning?

Not automatically. Type menu and tap Today’s forecast whenever you want it.

Can I ask my own questions?

Yes. Type them in plain words. Kendaraya answers from your chart and its astrology rules. It gives guidance, not guarantees.

Can I check a marriage match (Porondam)?

Yes, on request. It is not in the chat menu yet. Message us on WhatsApp and ask.

How do I stop messages?

Send STOP and Kendaraya stops messaging you. Send OPTIN later if you want to start again.

Is my birth data safe?

It is used only to calculate your chart and answers. Read the Privacy Policy for details on storage and your rights.

Why did the bot stop replying after a day?

WhatsApp lets a business reply freely for 24 hours after your last message. Send any message, such as “menu”, to start a fresh window.
